27 online brokerage firms agree to improve content. |
In an effort to provide better information to investors, 27 online brokerage firms have agreed to provide a link to the non-profit Investing Online Resource Center at http://www.investingonline.org. The site carries no advertising and attempts to provide information for online investors in an unbiased manner. Sections include "Eight Things Every Online Investor Should Know" and "The Real Costs of Day Trading." The non-profit center started in Washington State, funded by the Investor Protection Trust
and directed with the help of the Securities Division of the Washington State Department of Financial
Institutions. |
